What I get when I write a long piece each week for around 4week?

This is not a long period of time, around one month. But enough to build great habits already and can be life changing.

Get A new habit

This is a benefit i get from my challenge to myself that I previously wrote about. And I am happy to see what I can get from this challenge, one of them is the great habit to write. Like what told in Atom Habit, I start small and short, just try to at least write somethings a day and group into a large piece at the end of the week.

Now, I can write long Chinese piece in a day. Or even more.

But I am not stoping here, I want to write at least one long English piece and one Chinese piece a day. This is the target, because I want to be a writer. This is how I picture my future, no matter how other takes me.

More inspiration

It helps me greatly improve my writings, which is so important to me. I start to have more and more inspiration, because I changed the way I look at the world and society. This also helps me on drawing, but this is another story.

More Income

Yes I am a Hong Konger, and income is important to me. Write more does helps me earn more, through Vocus.cc or matters I can get some stable money. Newly joining Partner Program of Medium, I am look forward to what I can get.

Another thing is I can grow my portfolio. This helps me reach more potential clients and get better pay from some clients that have collaborate with for one or two times. This is so important, as living in HK is not a cheap thing to do.

Bigger community

Yes, this is a surprise to me. In four weeks of regular writing I grow my community on the instagram and Vocus. I got new followers and new friends that help each other for inspiration. I have never been good at growing community, and writing regularly helps me done the job.

Conclusion

So doing this help me get a new habit and be more disciplined. And by writing, I change the way I looked at the world and get way more inspiration to write. I get some more income aside from my main income stream. And the most important thing, writing regularly wins me friendship and partners.
